Position Responsibilities:

Troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment

Perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts

Utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system

Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution

As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating advanced equipment diagnostics, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, reliability practices, continuous improvement, equipment optimization, commissioning, and technical leadership capabilities. Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements.
