Responsibilities
- Stock shelves efficiently
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing knowledgeable guidance on store merchandise and store product knowledge.
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, packaging products, and ensuring the sales floor remains clean and inviting.
- Handle cashiering duties including retail math calculations, processing transactions accurately, and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment through routine cleaning tasks and upkeep of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail store operations or warehouse environments with knowledge of inventory control and materials handling.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock management and merchandising.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, loading/unloading shipments, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for retail transactions, inventory counts, and shipping calculations.
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude; previous retail or grocery store experience is advantageous.
