Job Summary:
We are a newly opened smoke and vapor shop, looking for a likeminded and reliable individual for part time. You will be expected to greet customers warmly, answer inquiries and follow strict compliance related to age-restricted sales in Washington State. Your day-to-day will also include maintaining store cleanliness, restocking inventory, promoting sales and offers, while providing a safe and fun environment to our patrons.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate our POS system efficiently and correctly
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties responsibly.
- Be knowledgeable on current product selection and upsell items when possible to benefit customers and increase sales
- Follow guidelines on store cleanliness and upkeep
- Assist the General Manager with small, daily tasks or projects for the store
- Basic math skills and ability to count back change
- Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to maximize sales opportunities
Experience/Expectations:
- Experience in vapor/smoke shops, dispensaries or c-stores highly preferred
- Must be 21+ to apply
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong communication skills, both verbal or written. With both customers and team members
- Problem solving skills
- Personal Experience with the products we sell is a must
Pay: From $17.13 per hour
