Overview: We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Runner/Expo to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with enthusiasm. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and commitment to guest satisfaction will help create memorable experiences for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables with speed and professionalism
- Ensure each order is accurate, complete, and presented beautifully before serving
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and resolve any issues
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to maintain quality standards
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to support smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Support the overall flow of service by bussing tables and assisting with guest needs as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive guest interactions

- Restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)
Shift availability:
- Weekend Day Shift
- Monday Through Sunday Night Shifts
- 3-5 shifts a week.
- We try hard utilize a set schedule with flexibility to cover shifts if/when needed due normal industry needs.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
