Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team as needed
- Busing tables and clearing dishes promptly to maintain a tidy dining area
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, crates, or bulk supplies safely and correctly
- Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning dish stations and kitchen surfaces
- Support the team in adhering to kitchen health and safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
