Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. Duties
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely stock movements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP to monitor inventory data and generate reports.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inventory transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong background in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP or Oracle), warehouse management systems (WMS), and spreadsheets (Excel).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across departments such as retail management, merchandising, procurement, and logistics.
- Technical proficiency in warehouse operations including forklift and order picker operation (certification preferred) and materials handling equipment.
