- Schedule preventative maintenance to assure facilities are able to meet customer and production requirements.
- Recognize process flaws and recommend corrective action
- Observe and listen to operating machines including transfer presses or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment and repair
- Confer with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve machining assembly or production problems
- Instruct and coach operators on the safe and productive operation of equipment
- Report and problems difficulties or unusual circumstances to the Group Leader.
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining; and adjusts machine controls or control media required
- Plan, direct and organize, implement and maintain systems to achieve Company goals in the areas of:
- Production output and efficiencies
- Continuous Quality Improvement Total Quality Management
- Service, production, management needs
- Compliance with all mandated regulations including environmental and safety
- Housekeeping
- Presentation and Maintenance of the building, grounds and equipment
- Organize and coordinate projects for duties to be preformed
- Document project activities and prepare appropriate operating standards and/or maintenance procedures for all equipment and processes
- Complete documentation process for machinery usage and equipment maintenance
- Investigate on site conditions that pertain to work needed to be done
- Work with others within the manufacturing tool room team regarding issues relating to the various projects

Education - HS Diploma or GED
