We’re seeking a Multi-Family Superintendent to oversee on-site construction operations for one of our flagship projects, ensuring that it’s delivered on time, on budget, and to our exacting quality standards.
Position Overview
The Multi-Family Superintendent will be the on-site leader responsible for day-to-day coordination of all construction activities. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, enforce safety standards, and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of multi-family construction from site work to final completion.
- Manage daily jobsite activities, including supervising subcontractors, scheduling work, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Monitor quality control and enforce high construction standards.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with all local building codes and safety regulations.
- Track and report project progress to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact schedule, budget, or quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Foster positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and the project team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of superintendent or site management experience, preferably in multi-family or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and digital reporting tools is a plus.
- OSHA certification preferred.
