Duties
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties including breast, general, and OB-GYN.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
- Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings to obtain optimal images for accurate interpretation.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to report on patient conditions and provide detailed medical documentation of findings.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and manual handling procedures to ensure patient safety and staff well-being.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently by documenting procedures, images, and patient information accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in ultrasound imaging with a strong background in breast ultrasound and women's diagnostic imaging.
- ARDMS certified and Basic Life Support (BLS)- breast certification preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR management)
- Strong understanding of patient safety protocols.

- Sonography: 2 years (Preferred)
