Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the counter or drive-thru.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and order management.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to assist with food preparation and ensure quality standards are met.
- Process cash transactions, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food industry standards including food handling, safety management, and sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace.
- Retail sales experience or grocery store experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential!
