Front Desk Associate (Pet Resort)
The Giving Tree Pet Resort – Reston, VA
Pay: $18–$21 per hour + bonuses
Overview
Join our team as a Front Desk Associate at a busy pet resort. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and dogs while staying organized in a fast-paced environment. You’ll handle daily check-ins, manage reservations, and ensure all guest and pet information is accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and pets in a friendly, professional manner
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm bookings
- Process check-ins/check-outs using Gingr software
- Review and verify vaccination records before entry
- Handle feeding, medication, and care instructions accurately
- Maintain correct billing and customer account details
- Communicate clearly with grooming and daycare teams
Schedule
- Shifts between 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Weekdays + one weekend day required
- AM/PM shifts rotate
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working at a front desk required
- Previous experience in a dog daycare, boarding, or grooming salon is a strong plus
- Detail-oriented with good organizational habits
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- Gingr experience is a plus
- Must enjoy working with dogs
