We are Number Crunchers and we are looking to add a Full Time Accounting Consultant to our team. We provide an environment setting that is a fun place to work, even while being remote.

The person that would thrive in this role, is someone that really likes doing day-to day accounting and works hard to produce accurate client deliverables. Prior experience is needed with increasing responsibility in accounting roles.
What the job entails:
- Entering A/R and A/P Invoices
- Entering Checks, Debit card, and Credit card transactions
- Journal entries
- Accruals, Depreciation, Adjust loan balances, etc.
- Transforming financial data into useful reports to non-accountants (in Excel)
- Reconcile credit cards and bank statements
- Verify accuracy of a Balance Sheet and P&L for month end close
- Identify needed adjustments in financial statement and make the corresponding journal entries
- Respond to emails promptly
What we expect:
- Experience with financial statement reviews and month end closing
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to explain variances from prior months or budget
- Full understanding of debits and credits
- Experience in Forecasting
- Experience with QuickBooks or Workamajig software
- High level of communication
