Certified Medical Assistant
We are currently seeking a medical assistant to join our growing, fast-paced Dermatology office. We are looking for a candidate that is organized, detail oriented, professional, able to multitask.
Requirements:
- At least 1-year experience
- Knowledgeable with EMR
- Strong multi-tasker
- Team player
- Positive, friendly and upbeat attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual and the ability to work full time
- Able to work in a FAST-paced environment as a TEAM
Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of computers with the ability to utilize our EMR when triaging patients and collecting information prior to seeing Dermatologist
- Scribe for the Dermatologist and record all information accurately
- Provide Pre and Post care instructions for medical and cosmetic procedures
- Assist in medical procedures (skin biopsy, excisions, cultures, etc)
- Assist in cosmetic procedures (lasers, injectables, neurotoxins, etc).
- Perform laser procedures
- Suture removal and dressing changes
- Patient call backs, prescription refills
- Sterilization of instruments and disinfection of rooms
- Maintaining friendly professionalism and customer service

Experience:
- Dermatology: 1 year (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Certified Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
