Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Part Time

Carolina's Speech & Language Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate and play-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. We are looking for a neurodiversity-affirming therapist who values child-led, strengths-based approaches to support children’s communication growth. This position involves working in a variety of settings, including daycares, schools, and homes, under the supervision of an experienced SLP.
Position Details:
- Part-time position starting with approximately 6 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the caseload grows.
- Flexible scheduling required.
- Must be comfortable driving to multiple locations.
- Pay based on experience.
Requirements:
- Current SLPA certification/license (as required by the state).
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Commitment to play-based, neurodiversity-affirming practices.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
