This is more than a typical phlebotomy position. You'll work alongside nationally recognized providers, perform advanced specimen collection and IV starts, and play a vital role in helping patients discover the root causes of their health concerns through functional and integrative medicine.

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection with confidence, precision, and compassion.
- Start peripheral IVs for provider-ordered laboratory testing and wellness therapies.
- Collect, process, centrifuge, label, package, and prepare specimens for shipment.
- Ensure specimen integrity through proper handling and quality control procedures.
- Accurately document laboratory activities within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and supply levels.
- Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA, CLIA, and infection control standards.
- Serve as the primary owner of laboratory operations, ensuring efficient workflow, organization, and exceptional quality standards.
- Support providers and the clinical team with laboratory-related patient care while maintaining a primary focus on phlebotomy and specimen management.
- Assist with provider-ordered IV therapies and laboratory procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with providers and nurses, to deliver a seamless, World-Class Patient Experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of professional phlebotomy experience required
- Exceptional venipuncture and specimen collection skills
- Experience processing and preparing laboratory specimens
- Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred
- IV insertion experience preferred
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Candidates with experience in Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine, concierge medicine, or wellness-focused healthcare are strongly encouraged to apply.
