Position Summary:
We are currently hiring for a 1st shift, full-time Warehouse Associate. This role is ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience - who are motivated to grow their skills in a fast-paced, food-grade environment. Onsite training is provided, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as you develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track stock levels accurately
- Complete applicable paperwork for duties preformed.
- Repalletize materials as needed to meet storage or shipment standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols
- Assist with various warehouse tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures
- Conduct inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock reconciliation to maintain accurate records
- Follow OSHA guidelines and mechanical procedures to uphold a safe working environment at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse/distribution environment with experience operating a hi-lo or similar warehousing heavy equipment.
- Valid certification for heavy equipment operation (forklift, reach truck, crane) preferred: Willingness & ability to become Hi-lo certified is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and GMPs in warehouse environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for inventory control and order fulfillment
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to follow strict food safety, cleanliness & sanitation protocols.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team is required.
