Maintenance Tech 3rd Shift at a leading foam manufacture in North America.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all general safety regulations and use the safety equipment provided as required. See JSA & PDA for this position for details safety instructions.
Understand ISO 9001 requirements / the Woodbridge Quality Policy. Always follow work instructions and procedures as established through the Woodbridge Quality Policy.
- Maintain plant downtime and equipment records for the facility.
- Maintain all contractor and vendor information packets and insurance certificates (part of the HSE Element activities and the INS Vendor system).
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Can be called upon to receive maintenance request and work orders and dispatch maintenance technicians, accordingly, working with the Maintenance Supervisor.
· Qualifications
· Prefer two-year technical training, Associate’s degree or military training and five years’ experience. A background in Industrial Maintenance would be an added benefit in this position.
· Electrical experience with controls and PLC.

· Mechanical Experience willing to work as a mechanic and able to complete electrical work and trouble shoot electrical issues.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. During the summer months, the employee must endure extreme heat as the plant is not climate controlled.
Salary information: per hour $27- $31 (Salary starts as $27 per hour)
Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: (insert keywords here)
