Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support building projects, site development, and infrastructure improvements. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and precise operation of equipment vital to our construction activities. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction equipment with precision and safety awareness.
- Manage the operation of specialized vehicles such as concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and farm machinery as needed on-site.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with site preparation tasks such as grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently across various phases of construction projects.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance logs.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, front loader trucks, or farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and operate machinery such as concrete mixers and Caterpillar equipment confidently.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
