Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical projects. The Electrical Estimator will analyze drawings and specifications, perform detailed quantity take-offs, prepare proposals and bid packages, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to support successful bid submissions and project budgeting.
Key Responsibilities

Review construction drawings, specifications and electrical plans to identify scope and requirements for commercial electrical projects.

Perform detailed quantity take-offs and material take-offs (electrical devices, conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, etc.) to develop accurate cost estimates.

Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages, proposals and supporting documentation for public and private commercial projects.

Develop cost models, labor and material pricing, and apply appropriate cost coding and assemblies for consistent estimations.

Solicit, evaluate and incorporate subcontractor and vendor quotes; maintain relationships with suppliers to validate pricing.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers and procurement to clarify scope, value-engineer alternatives and ensure estimate accuracy.

Ensure all bids and estimates meet internal quality standards, contractual requirements and submission deadlines.
Qualifications

3+ years of electrical estimating experience; experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator preferred

Proficiency with estimating tools and processes, including experience using Accubid, Trimble or other electrical estimating software

Strong familiarity with electrical systems, commercial electrical assemblies, cost coding and labor/productivity factors.
