Responsibilities

- Incorporate various e-learning tools and multimedia resources to enhance lesson engagement and interactivity
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
- Support students with disabilities or special educational needs by tailoring instructions to ensure inclusive learning experiences
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student performance, and attendance in digital management systems
- Foster a positive, encouraging virtual classroom atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively and build confidence in their language skills
Skills
- Proven experience in teaching foreign languages, particularly Japanese, with a strong emphasis on literacy education and classroom management
- Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional adaptability for diverse learner needs
- Familiarity with learning technology, e-learning platforms, and digital tools used for remote instruction
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to create clear, engaging instructional materials in English and Japanese
- Experience working with children, including early childhood education or preschool settings, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of special education practices and working with students with disabilities or additional learning needs
- Multilingual abilities such as Mandarin or French are a plus but not required; fluency in English is essential for effective communication
- Strong tutoring skills with a focus on individualized instructions and supporting student success in a virtual environment
