Duties
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are properly stored for easy access
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep or basic plating when needed
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with light food handling tasks
- Help keep the kitchen area organized by disposing of waste and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods
- Follow safety procedures related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation to maintain a safe work environment
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred but not required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
