Weekend Recreation Therapist

Located in the serene forest foothills of northern Georgia, Black Bear Lodge is a 144- bed place of solace and healing for those individuals suffering from addiction and mental health issues. Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Therapeutic Group Activities: provide recreational groups both on-property and in the community to facilitate patients’ progress toward sobriety goals-
Documentation: document all patient interactions including group notes, individual contact notes, and event notes as needed

Other responsibilities may include: therapist may be asked to support the team in other areas like crisis management, other group activities, or other duties as identified by management/leadership
Requirements for Position

Must posess CTRS, ATRA or NCTRC Certification as well as being a licensed clinician
(LMSW, LAPC, LPC, LCSW)

1 year of experience in mental health or substance abuse field preferred.

Valid Driver's License with Trustworthy Driving History
