Brumit Restaurant Group is looking to fill a Maintenance Technician position. BRG currently has 64 restaurants throughout Tennessee, Western North Carolina and South Carolina with an in-house Facilities Department that maintains all repairs on equipment and buildings. We're looking for a well-rounded technician comfortable working across multiple trades — electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, and general kitchen/building equipment repair.

Job Description:
- Work Life Balance – Maximum 50 hours per week
- Daily travel between multiple locations – Company vehicle provided. You clock in the moment you leave your driveway!
- On-call rotation: One weekend every 7 weeks
- Perform repairs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance across a wide range of restaurant equipment and building systems, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across varying equipment types with minimal supervision
- Process work orders submitted by restaurants
- Strong verbal/written communication with strong attention to detail
- Responsible for keeping assigned restaurants in a safe, functional, and marketable condition
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including walk-in coolers/freezers and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Ability to work in confined spaces (under equipment, in mechanical rooms, crawl spaces)
- Manual dexterity for handling tools and small parts
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended daily travel

Experience:
- General maintenance/repair experience across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC) preferred — varying levels of experience considered
- Commercial kitchen equipment repair experience a plus
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- EPA Certification (preferred; required for refrigerant-handling tasks)
- HVAC or trade-specific certification a plus, not required

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
