We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented SMT Operator to set up, operate, and maintain surface mount technology (SMT) equipment used in printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.
Experience with SMT programming is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform surface mount soldering and PCB assembly.
- Set up and operate soldering and surface mount equipment.
- Set up and break down feeders for pick-and-place equipment.
- Load and scan feeders and components into pick-and-place equipment.
- Load, unload, and scan PCBs on pick-and-place equipment.
- Load loose components onto PCBs as required.
- Perform routine setup, operation, and maintenance of SMT equipment.
- Follow written and computerized work instructions.
- Inspect components and assemblies for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work effectively and respectfully with team members.
- Follow company procedures and applicable industry quality standards.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of surface mount assembly and printed circuit board manufacturing.
- Familiarity with assembly standards such as IPC-A-610.
- Ability to identify and distinguish electronic components.
- Basic computer and machine operation skills.
- Ability to read and follow written and computerized instructions.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SMT programming experience is a plus.
- Previous SMT or electronics manufacturing experience.
Hours are
Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
The pay is up $28.00 or more depending on experience
Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
