A DAY IN THE LIFE OF VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you play the most important role in the client experience, as you are the first and last person a pet owner speaks with. Whether in person or over the phone, you represent our team with empathy and compassion. You happily answer questions and client needs professionally and courteously.
We also rely on you to ensure that communication within the hospital is seamless. That way, we can meet our clients' and patients' needs while ensuring vets and technicians are informed and prepared.
You also keep our office clean and handle a variety of clerical tasks. From completing required forms and processing payments to maintaining accurate medical records, patient scheduling and managing the flow of incoming calls or cases, you do it all! You enjoy seeing our adorable patients and helping make their experience the best possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of customer service experience required
- 1+ year of veterinary experience preferred
Experience in veterinary medicine customer service is preferred, but not required. Do you have strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills? Can you work independently on assigned tasks and follow directions? Are you enthusiastic and team-oriented? Can you be patient and kind with all types of animals and people? If yes, you might just be perfect for this clerical / customer service position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time reception position typically works 4 days a week with 10 hour shifts. Our normal business hours are:
- Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 7:30 AM to 6 PM
- Wednesdays: 7:30 AM to 3 PM
- No weekends
- No holidays
