The Banquet Server will be responsible for providing prompt, courteous service to all guests at events assigned.
Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with the complete setup and breakdown of the event.

Assists the set-up of linen, silver, glassware and china for a scheduled event.

Monitors tables closely and be attentive to guest’s needs.

Clears empty plates and glasses from tables.

Relays food and beverage orders.

Maintains a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.

Anticipates guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations.

Maintains composure in a fast-paced environment.

Relays important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.

Responds urgently and appropriately to any concerns.

Presents in professional appearance and mannerisms.

Assists co-workers as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred

Previous catering experience preferred.

Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.

Must present a neat and professional appearance with good hygiene.

Flexibility to work various shifts

Ability to stand and walk for entire hour shifts.

Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
-
Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
-
The ability to climb and descend stairs carrying trays or other items is a requirement.

The ability to bend, stoop and kneel is a must.
