Fleet Maintenance Manager

Pay: Minimum $75,000 per Year
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance personnel and repair operations of our motor coach fleet and company vehicles. This role is responsible for ensuring the fleet remains in excellent operating condition while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can effectively manage multiple maintenance facilities, promote safety, and minimize vehicle downtime.

Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operations of the maintenance shops responsible for repairing and overhauling the motor coach fleet.
- Coordinate maintenance activities between three maintenance locations.
- Schedule mechanics and staff while assigning daily work.
- Supervise and evaluate maintenance personnel through quality control inspections and performance reviews.
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing technician development.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and state inspections are completed on schedule.
- Make maintenance decisions that maximize fleet reliability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- CDL Permit (CDL-P) endorsement required
- State Inspection License required
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance and preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to prioritize work and make sound maintenance decisions
