We are seeking a friendly and organized hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We are looking for 1-2 host's to join our team for the summer months.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
- Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Assist guests with any special requests or needs, providing excellent guest services throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and tracking guest flow.
- Process cash payments accurately
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage seating and guest flow efficiently.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help guests and team members alike.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of menu items and services offered is a plus.
