In this vital role, you will lead a team of custodial staff, ensuring that all spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold sanitation regulations, and foster a positive environment for both staff and clients. Responsibilities
- Reliable transportation to assigned Triad sites
- Able to work the required after-hours schedule
- Can follow written/photo-based checklists
- Communicates callouts/problems early
- Comfortable handling keys/codes responsibly
- Professional around clients and client property
- Can safely use cleaning chemicals/PPE according to instructions
- Can use a smartphone for schedules, forms, photos and messages
- Eligible to work under the company’s lawful employment structure
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, and clients to address concerns, provide updates, and improve service quality
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning environments
- Strong staff supervision and team management skills with previous supervising or leadership experience
- Excellent managerial communication abilities to coordinate teams and liaise with clients effectively
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management protocols
- Ability to oversee janitorial operations including laundry services, housekeeping management, and general custodial tasks
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cleaning teams within hospitality or institutional settings
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle client requests professionally while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Bilingual English/Spanish ability when useful for the team/customer—not a requirement based on ethnicity
