American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience for a travel contract in the San Francisco, CA area.

Home health setting serving geriatric patients in the San Francisco area, with potential coverage of surrounding counties
-
Case types include general home health, wound care, and geriatric home health
-
Minimum of 23–24 patient visits per week
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

No weekend or on-call requirements, though on-call may occasionally be offered on a discretionary basis

Charting is performed using Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be completed on-site and cannot be taken home

A facility-provided tablet is used for charting

Contract length is 4–6 months; less experienced clinicians are required to commit to a 6-month contract (non-negotiable)

Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience as a PT required

Current, valid state PT license required (pending licenses not accepted)

Current BLS certification required

License required if applicable

No hits or restrictions on license

Ability to work independently as a self-starter in a home health environment

Strong charting and documentation skills required

Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are accepted

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial application; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made

COVID vaccination is required; religious exemptions/declinations are accepted

Flu vaccination declination is accepted with a signed declination form

Compliance documentation must be completed before seeing patients, which may take 2–3 weeks

Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first patient to last patient (does not include travel to or from home)

Any color scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required
