Powers Ferry Family Dentistry in Atlanta, GA is seeking a highly experienced Dental Assistant! The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in general dentistry including oral surgery and endodontics.

What You'll Bring:
- GA Radiation Safety Certificate + CPR/BLS REQUIRED
- DANB CDA or equivalent STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Proficiency in 4-handed dentistry + digital impressions (Itero/3Shape)
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Responsiblities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including fillings, crown preparations, extractions, oral surgery, endodontics, and more
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are ready and sterilized
- Take and process dental X-rays and digital impressions as directed by the dentist
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and educate them on oral hygiene practices
- Record patient medical and dental histories, update records, and ensure accurate documentation
- Manage infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to practice protocols
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure that all necessary supplies are available and organized
- Support front office operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing payments, as needed
- Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate care throughout their visit
