Job Summary
POSANA RESTAURANT SOUTH (posanarestaurant.com) is looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a Host at Posana, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and ensure smooth communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining an organized dining area, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or in a customer service role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
*Previous experience with OpenTable is a plus.
*Previous experience with TOAST POS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Provide information about menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as needed.
