Shift Work: Library branches may be open various days and hours of the week, to include evenings and weekends.
EXAMINATION SCHEDULE:-
Qualified candidates will be notified of the testing date five days prior to the examination.
Examinations:
Oral Exam (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of appraising training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Each applicant will be required to present a portfolio of their own original work during the oral examination.
Applicants must attain at least a 70% score on each phase of the examination process.
The Human Resources Division may solely conduct an appraisal of application materials should there be an insufficient number of candidates to warrant an oral exam.
Minimum Qualifications / Employment Standards:
High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent and two years of experience in publicity art work. A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is desirable.
