We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in the hospitality industry. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. You will assist servers and kitchen staff to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a tidy dining environment.
- Assist servers by providing support during peak hours, including refilling drinks and delivering food to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and surfaces, to uphold health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or large parties.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and assist with any additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to help others and work as part of a team is essential.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting dishes or cleaning equipment.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about restaurant operations are highly valued.
