Position Purpose:
The main responsibilities of this position are to provide exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
Essential Functions:

Promotes water safety among guests using the pool, maintains the pool, whirlpool, pool deck, patio, and grounds of the hotel.

Conducts necessary repairs and performs necessary cleaning in a manner that is responsive to guest satisfaction in a safe manner. Also responsible for routine custodial duties.

Ensuring cleanliness, setting -up and safety of the pool deck and attend to all guests needs within the hotel pool area as per the Hotel safety guidelines.

Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for stations, tables, and side duties.

Stack dishware properly for efficient unloading for kitchen stewarding and always ensure proper safety standards.

Perform set up duties as requested to include side stations, storage areas and food staging area.

Perform general cleaning tasks utilizing cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards.

Fold napkins for meal periods to maintain an adequate supply.

Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.

Prepares pool deck for patrons by setting up and cleaning day beds, pool chairs, pool towels and cabanas; setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils as needed.

Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean and replacing damaged menus.

Maintains table setting by removing plates, glassware and utensils as completed; replenishing utensils; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.

Supports Pool Servers by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners, and bus stations.

Closes pool deck by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping floors; removing trash and recyclables from the pool deck.

Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.

Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Maintain general knowledge of the pool operations concept.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent preferred
-
Willing to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
-
Physically able to carry 35+ pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift.

Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.

Excellent at verbal communication

Works well and efficiently under pressure.

Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management.
