Vision Quest Solutions is actively recruiting a contract Nurse Practitioner for an IHS government contract in Fort Thompson, South Dakota.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging, EKGs).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and manage pharmacotherapy.
- Provide patient education, counseling, and health promotion guidance.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate-level education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- National board certification in a population focus (e.g., FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, ACNP-BC).
- Advanced clinical training and competency evaluation.

Hourly Rate: $105 - $115 per hour (please note this is a rough estimate and salary will be set at the time of the contract award)
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8 am to 5 pm
An active and unrestricted RN license from any State is acceptable.
