Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold food safety and sanitation standards
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and fostering positive relationships
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Host/hostess experience or serving background preferred but not required
