Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the waitstaff team to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, presentation, and quality standards are met
- Manage shift operations, including seating arrangements, order accuracy, and timely service delivery
- Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Train new staff members on food safety, service protocols, POS usage, and hospitality standards
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assist with food management and waste reduction strategies
- Enforce food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to maintain high hygiene standards
- Assist in supervising kitchen operations during busy periods to ensure seamless collaboration between front and back of house
- Conduct staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster team development
- Support managerial tasks such as budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost control measures
Experience
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling proficiency required
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and culinary operations preferred
- Experience managing hospitality teams with skills in training, development, and team leadership
- Background in managing restaurant operations such as shift management, inventory control, catering or banquet services is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview staff and lead effective team training sessions
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
