Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with mid-level experience to join our team in Broussard, LA. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in machining within an industrial or oilfield environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate CNC mill w/ 4th axis
· Study work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to plan machining operations
· Interpret GD&T and technical drawings accurately
· Set up machines, including tooling, offsets, and program inputs
· Basic editing on programs mills and lathes, including proving out part programs
· Monitor machining processes (facing, grooving, threading) for quality
· Measure parts and adjust processes to maintain specifications
· Perform basic preventive maintenance and maintain a safe work environment
Preferred Experience
· 3+ years of CNC machining experience
· Familiarity with CNC mills with fanuc controls
· Ability to perform basic math, geometry, and trigonometry calculations
· Experience in oilfield or heavy industrial machining environments
Schedule - Full-time, Monday through Friday, some weekends. Average 45-55 hours per week.
