Now Hiring: Youth Development Professional (Middle & High School Program)
Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand is seeking an energetic, dependable, and positive individual who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of teens.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional staff meetings, professional development, and training days may be required.
Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with middle and high school members.
- Lead engaging activities that encourage learning, leadership, and personal growth.
- Supervise students while maintaining a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and respectful behavior.
- Serve as a positive role model through professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Assist with homework support, recreational activities, and special events.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents when needed.
- Be actively involved with students throughout the entire shift—this is a hands-on position where engagement is expected at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth is preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Able to maintain a positive attitude and manage groups of students effectively.
- Must be energetic, creative, and willing to participate in games, activities, and mentoring opportunities.
- Must be able to pass all required background screenings.
