Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
-COTA Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- COTA Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and goals
- COTA Help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities
- COTA Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with occupational health, medical imaging, acute care, and pediatrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt treatment techniques based on individual patient needs
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to develop effective treatment plans
Note: Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required for this position.
