Local CDL-A Driver – No experience needed - Glendale, AZ
MWS believes every new CDL graduate deserves a chance to succeed. No prior experience is needed. We provide paid training, practical instruction, and ongoing support to help new drivers build confidence, gain real-world experience, and start a rewarding local driving career with daily home time.
Pay & Compensation
- Weekly Pay: $1,300–$1,600
- Annual Pay: $63,000–$78,000
- Miles: 2,000–2,400 per week
- Unload pay: $100
- CPM: 60¢
Home Time
Orientation
- One-day paid orientation
- Covers safety procedures, equipment walkthrough, drug screening, and skills assessment
- Orientation Pay: $300 (paid with first paycheck)
- Transportation and hotel accommodations provided
Freight & Routes
- Drivers haul dedicated Dollar Tree and Kroger freight on local routes. Freight is 100% no-touch, with consistent load volumes, dependable miles, and established routes that provide steady work and daily home time.

- 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia
- Assigned truck
- Automatic transmissions only
- Manual restriction accepted

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- No experience required
- Minimum age: 21
- Must live within 50 miles of Glendale, AZ
- Basic load securement knowledge
- No major moving violations within the last 12 months
- 3-year MVR review
- 10-year background check
- Must pass hair and urine drug screening
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required paperwork
- Deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Operate automatic tractors with 48'–53' trailers
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
