Summary
First Choice Home Care is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one care for a male pediatric patient in his home located in Goldston, NC. This position is for the Saturday and Sunday night from 8:00PM to 8:00AM and Sunday 10:00AM to 6:00PM. The primary skilled care needs for this patient include tracheostomy care and G-tube management.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Manage medical equipment as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in long-term care or home health preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
