We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac CT Technologist to join our dynamic cardiovascular imaging team. Duties
- Perform specialized Cardiac CT scans, including coronary calcium scoring, CT angiography, and other advanced cardiac imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures, ensuring proper positioning, and monitoring vital signs throughout the process.
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or semi-invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
- Monitor patient physiology and vital signs during procedures, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical parameters in compliance with hospital policies.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously, including infection control standards and radiation safety guidelines.
Skills
- Strong understanding of anatomy related to the heart and vascular system.
- Experience working in Cardiovascular CT.
- Ability to interpret vital signs accurately and respond effectively in urgent situations.
- Familiarity with physiology principles relevant to cardiac function and imaging.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and radiation safety practices.
