About the Opportunity
The Academy of Art & Learning is offering a hands‑on Summer RBT Internship for students or recent graduates interested in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), psychology, education, or working with autistic children. This is a great opportunity to gain supervised experience, build clinical skills, and explore a career in ABA in a warm, creative, child‑centered environment.
Interns will work directly with children, support ABA programming, and receive training aligned with the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) competencies.
What You’ll Do

Support individualized ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA

Assist with data collection, skill‑building activities, and behavior support

Engage children in play‑based learning, communication practice, and social skills

Help prepare materials and maintain a positive, structured learning environment

Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent, ethical, child‑centered care
Who We’re Looking For

Students or recent graduates in Psychology, Education, ABA, Child Development, or related fields

Passion for working with children and supporting neurodiverse learners

Strong communication skills and a positive, patient attitude

Reliable, professional, and eager to learn

Ability to pass background checks required for childcare setting

Prior experience with children is helpful but not required — we provide training
