Qualifications
- Dental Assisting: at least 1 year (Preferred)
- If applying for RDA - a license is required
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- AED Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the office
- Prepare customers for exam, treatment, making sure they are comfortable
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist with procedures
- Provide hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with front office procedures like payment and recall.
- Collect patient payments
- Complete consultation spreadsheet
- Work and plan reactivation campaigns as necessary
- Assist Front Office Assistant/ Receptionist as needed or fill in when needed
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments
- Check-in/Check-out patients and prepare charts
Spanish speaking is a plus.
we are open on 2 Saturdays so if you are available it will be great.
