ATC Healthcare is currently hiring experienced and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our dedicated team. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, particularly those with special needs and elderly clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Support meal preparation and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc.)
- Offer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Foster companionship and offer emotional support to clients
- Observe and report any changes in client behavior or condition to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Experience working with the elderly and/or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow care plans and work independently
