Maintenance Worker 1
Regular, Full-Time Position
JOB SUMMARY
This position maintains HRI managed facilities and assigned company properties, including landscaping community common areas, cemetery, parks, beach areas, streets, street lights, roads, drainage, streams, ditches, pump stations, reservoirs, control equipment, etc. and other vital functions as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. This is an entry-level position
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and landscaping of HRI managed properties and facilities which includes raking, shoveling, pruning, hauling plants, lifting heavy bags of trash, and working outdoors.
- Maintenance of common areas including streets, street lights, cemetery, parks, beach areas, roads, streams, ditches, etc.
- Skillfully operate landscaping and maintenance equipment such as weed eaters, riding mowers, and other hand maintenance and landscaping equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Hawaii State driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, lifting, and bending.
- Must be able to safely operate hand tools, power equipment and heavy equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
