About the Role
The Funder is responsible for reviewing loan packages for accuracy and completeness while communicating with loan applicants, dealerships, sales teams, underwriters, and management.
Responsibilities
- Review loan packages and contracts to obtain or clarify needed information
- Verify applicant details including employment, residence, and references
- Conduct welcome calls and follow-up interviews with applicants
- Identify discrepancies or potential fraud
- Ensure all documents match underwriting approvals
- Audit contracts for compliance and lender standards
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in loan processing, funding, or originations (auto finance preferred, not required)
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Professional and tactful interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- High School Diploma or GED
