****Must have 2+ years of experience as a Honda/Acura service advisor****
Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Approach and greet customers promptly
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Document customer needs and concerns
- Clarify customers concerns and description of problems
- Conduct vehicle inspection, check service maintenance records, check for manufacturers recalls and bulletins
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage, and explain coverage and exclusions to customer
- Arrange for towing, courtesy shuttle transport, vehicle loaner or rental car arrangements
- Determine recommended service based on age, mileage and vehicle history
- Prepare repair orders by documenting services requested and required
- Obtain customer approval signatures prior to sending vehicles in to the shop
- Communicate closely with service technicians after 182 point inspection has been performed on vehicle
- Communicate additional recommended services or problems found by technician to the customer
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining estimates and expected time for completion of service repairs and maintenance
- Monitor progress of vehicle and update customers on the vehicle status frequently
- Engage in active delivery by reviewing all work performed on vehicle and provide clear explanation of charges
- Serve as point of contact after service and repairs have been performed
Required Skills and Experience:
****Must have 2+ years of experience as a Honda/Acura service advisor****
- Prior Automotive Service Advisor Experience
- Customer Service oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Honda certified
- Experience using Reynolds and Reynolds
- Bilingual preferred
- Strong computer skills
